The supply chain of the
future is what we are
committed to.

Commitment to sustainability.

Our responsibility goes beyond offering high quality logistics solutions. Transportation is vital for global trade, but it also has a negative impact on the environment. At Best Global Logistics we feel responsible to keep our negative impact on the environment as small as possible. We are implementing working methods that reduce our carbon footprint and make our supply chain greener. And we cannot do this alone!

Because we connect every business and individuals around the globe, we think it is necessary to think green and act sustainable.

We are taking the Green steps together.

As a global player in the supply chain industry, we strive to continuously enhance our productivity by collaborating with partners in the supply chain, enhancing the predictability of the flow of goods, implementing innovative solutions to service our industry and taking the environment into account with decisions we make.

We will use our bargaining power to expand green activities and motivate our partners to participate. No improvement is too small for this cause.

A slight change in our way of working can make a big difference to our world. Firstly, we are committed to closely investigating our operations, and turning these commitments into quick-wins. With our Going Green strategy, we are establishing a positive impact. Besides setting corporate goals, we aim to achieve a greener world together. Our roadmap focuses on meeting individual goals and turning these into commitments.

Developing sustainable solutions.

Focusing on effective and efficient global consolidation of shipments.

We are devoted to organize the transport of shipments efficiently and to cleverly make use of the total available transport capacity.

Offering customers biodegradable shrink wrapping.

We generally do not pack shipments for our customers. But when palletizing or repacking shipments, we have options to reuse packaging materials and choose less environmentally polluting packaging materials.

Enhancing our paperless operational and accounting processes.

The transportation industry is a traditional industry in which paper documents are of high importance, especially in certain parts of the world, the industry is evolving and more digital solutions become available.

Separating waste and only contracting green energy electricity suppliers.

Separating waste and contracting green energy electricity suppliers is crucial for two reasons: it is better for the environment and it is processed in the right way.

Investing in proper handling and storage of dangerous goods.

Hazardous substances can form a threat to the environment and humans if not handled with care and professionalism. We invest time and resources in the knowledge of staff members involved with DG shipments and our warehouses are equipped with safe and secure storage facilities. In addition, we partnered up with professionals in this field, to ensure our DG handling is up to the highest standard.

Establishing client pilots by using electric trucks.

Investing in electric mobility.

We are fortunate to have long-term partners with whom we can collaborate to implement greener solutions, allowing us to establish client pilots with electric truck deliveries.

More effectively and efficiently.

Alternative drive technologies and multimodal logistics solutions are always on our watchlist.

Joining airline sustainable bio-fuel programs.

We strive to deliver green logistics.
To secure the future of commercial aviation, the transition from fossil fuel to bio-fuel is a top priority. Bio-fuel can reduce carbon emissions up to 80% when compared to fossil fuel.

We are leading the way.

As a global forwarder, we want to set an example for many others in the industry.

Measuring our performance.

The aim of the procedure is to evaluate measures that have been implemented to improve our environmental performances. An internal research team is investigating the carbon footprint of BGL in 2020 and will continue to monitor the CO2 emissions caused during transportation of goods, on behalf of our customers.

Through monitoring, measuring, analyzing and improving, we demonstrably meet the requirements we set on our service level, quality procedures and environmental management system. We are ISO 14001:2015 certified since 2015 and ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2010 and we continuously work on improving and developing our procedures. In order to realize our goals, BGL developed a team of dedicated and skilled professionals that operate a fully integrated IT platform, focused on excellent execution of our jobs.

Sustainability and durable innovations are important for every individual on earth. We commit to playing our part.
