Sea Freight Executive (Dubai, UAE)
We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Sea Freight Executive to manage and coordinate sea freight shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of sea freight operations and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate sea freight shipments, including FCL, LCL, and OOG cargo, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
Communicate with shipping lines, customers, and internal teams to arrange bookings and resolve issues.
Monitor shipment schedules and track the status of cargo.
Handle customs clearance processes in compliance with regulations.
Analyze and optimize sea freight operations for profitability and customer satisfaction.
Assist in negotiating rates and securing contracts with carriers.
Our Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in sea freight operations within the freight forwarding industry.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise One) and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and customs processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
