The world’s first FLNG vessel

When the world’s first operating Floating Liquified Natural Gas (FLNG) vessel was being built, BGL’s expertise and reliability was called upon. Being the turnkey logistics contractor and partner for this client provided us with the opportunity to plan every aspect of this high profile and high value project.

Together with the client’s project team and procurement personnel a detailed budget and plan was formulated. Our logistics performance in meeting the budget and reliable on time delivery of all the heavy lift modules, equipment and spares contributed greatly to the success of the project: the world’s first (FLNG) vessel was producing gas on time and on budget! During Covid-19 pandemic, we served the vessel by transporting spares and crew with specially chartered aircrafts.
