Massive modules for LNG project

BGL braced itself for a tough challenge when accepting the task to move modules of nearly 1500 tons from a yard in China to Keppel Shipyard in Singapore. The shipments were facing major challenges due to Covid-19, a chaotic shipping market, the Lunar New Year, technical complexities and very short time windows. Motivated by the trust of the client, BGL designed and engineered the best solutions, engaged a reliable Marine Warranty Surveyor and successfully transported the modules on specialized heavy lift vessels with the fastest transit that could be possibly achieved. The transport included a 500 ton Regas Module and a 900 ton Power Module rising more than 34 meters high.
