Job Overview:
As an Airfreight Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing air freight shipments, coordinating with clients and airlines, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with experience in the freight forwarding industry and a solid understanding of airfreight logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end airfreight operations.
- Book shipments and handle all necessary documentation.
- Liaise with airlines, clients, and agents to ensure efficient cargo handling.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare, review, and submit all documentation for customs clearance.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively.
Our Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in airfreight operations within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight processes, customs requirements, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
